Leading With Cultural Intelligence

May 26, 2010

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Whether you’re a CEO, manager or solo entrepreneur, a critical skill is being able to effectively navigate cross-cultural relationships and encounters.

Yet if you’re like most of us, you don’t have the time to master all the ins and outs of every culture you come upon.

Cultural intelligence (CQ) is your capability to function effectively across a variety of cultures without becoming an expert in all the norms of the various cultures. In a nutshell, CQ helps you develop an overall repertoire and perspective that results in more effective leadership in multicultural situations.

This webcast introduces some of the seminal research on cultural intelligence and examines specific insights and implications for CQ in business management.

For 60 minutes, you’ll explore the nature and application of CQ, including:

* How CQ applies in a variety of cultural contexts such as national, ethnic, organizational, and generational
* A 4-step process for increasing your personal CQ
* The potential return on investment (ROI) for companies that use CQ
* Strategic use of CQ throughout your organization
