Managers/HR: How are you coping with more work, less staff?

AMACOM authors William Rothwell, Ph.D., Professor, Penn State University, James Graber, Ph.D.,  President, Business Decisions, and Neil McCormick, Senior Manager of Talent2, are looking for managers and HR professionals who have come up with innovative solutions for managing employees, as well as their own workload, with a smaller staff and far more work than in the past.

Are you outsourcing? Using contractors? Using labor in lower cost areas? Partnering in new ways with current vendors? Putting more work out to bid online? Hiring part-time retirees? Are you automating work? Re-engineering processes? Eliminating lower priority work?

This is for their upcoming book Lean Work, Lean Staffing. They are looking for volunteers to interview for about 20 minutes, and the first 20 people who respond and are interviewed will receive a free copy of the book. Everyone interviewed will be acknowledged in the book.
